In the beginning
I don't even remember the exact year. I think it was around 2017 when I first released Bouncing Boobs on Game Jolt (back then, NSFW content was allowed).
At the time, I was messing around with some Skyrim mods, replacing the NPCs with curvy naked ladies just to see some digital titties bouncing around. You know, just for fun.
Then I got curious about how game developers implemented the "jiggle physics" in those mods and other games in general. That led me to do some experiments using Unity.
That became Bouncing Boobs.
No real gameplay, no objectives. Just bounce some titties, and that's it.
Below you can see an older version of it. Not the first version, because I lost the compiled game and screenshots.
All bad things must end, all bad things must die.
Then I got tired. Life happened. Dealing with ordinary things like my day job, other projects, etc. made me slowly forget about my aspiration to make NSFW games.
I realized that Bouncing Boobs was just plain bad. The visual quality, the work I'd done, the premise itself... it didn't make sense anymore. That was around 2020, I think, and I just moved on and left the project as it was.
Eventually, I would have second thoughts and work on it again, only to forget about it a couple of days later. Then, one year later, I'd go back and work on it again.
That cycle repeated almost every year.
At some point, I completely decided that I wasn't going to work on it anymore. My mind was made up.
All bad things must end.
All bad things must... end?
Fast-forward to 2026. I started to feel that itch to work with digital naked ladies again.
I asked myself: do all bad things really have to end?
I mean, the current version of Bouncing Boobs is shitty and bad, but maybe I can make it better?
I guess back then I thought NSFW wasn't a legit thing to pursue as a game developer, and that's one of the reasons I abandoned the project.
But after seeing so many adult projects come to life, seeing more adult games finding an audience on platforms like Steam, and the analytics for Bouncing Boobs still showing visits and downloads for a dead project that had been de-indexed (or shadow-banned), I realized that adult games are a legit market.
Also, from a developer's standpoint, it's just a game. The challenges involved in developing this kind of game are the same ones I encounter in my day job as a game developer.
So I guess it's a win-win for me. I can scratch two itches by making these adult projects.
Now I'm just picking up where I left off.
I'll do a couple of updates to Bouncing Boobs, and soon I'll be announcing my next project. I'd say it's already about 70% done when it comes to the core loop, while the lore is currently in pre-production.
For now i'll leave a screenshot of the debug view of the upcoming Bouncing Boobs update, notice how the breast react to the collider :)
